Overview: Section 20.13 of S.L. 2026-41 (Senate Bill 257) authorizes the State Bureau of Investigation to assist the State Auditor when requested by the State Auditor. This section also changes a reference from the Department of Public Safety to the Department of Adult Correction to conform to statutory changes made in previous legislation.
This section became effective July 1, 2026.
