Overview: Section 7.42 of S.L. 2026-41 (Senate Bill 257) repeals the requirement that the Department of Public Instruction use $82,100 dollars per fiscal year of lapsed salary funds for the 2025-2027 fiscal biennium to provide dedicated operating funds for the Charter Schools Review Board, including funds for meeting expenses, non-employee travel and subsistence reimbursement, and legal services.
This section became effective July 1, 2026.
