Overview: Part II of S.L. 2025-64 (House Bill 546) amends recently enacted legislation to (i) provide additional authority for the implementation of work requirements for North Carolina Medicaid beneficiaries upon federal approval of those work requirements and (ii) require reporting of any funding needs for the implementation of any approved work requirements.

This Part became effective July 7, 2025.
