Overview: Section 21 of S.L. 2025-47 (Senate Bill 391) increases the maximum number of medical exception permits a person may be issued from two to four. These permits are for a person who suffers from a medical condition that causes the person to be photosensitive to light and requires alternative window tinting requirements on specified vehicles.

This section became effective July 1, 2025.
