Overview: Section 23 of S.L. 2025-47 (Senate Bill 391) amends Section 2 of S.L. 2024-15, which authorized the Department of Transportation to establish a pilot program to award contracts for up to five transportation projects that meet eligibility criteria utilizing a Progressive Design Build delivery method. This section amends that provision by modifying the definition of "Progressive Design-Build" and how the Design-Build Team is selected and allowing for more than two contracts to complete a project.

This section became effective July 1, 2025.
