Overview: Section 10.2 of S.L. 2025-97 (Senate Bill 449) makes a technical correction to the statutory authorization for the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics special registration plates by authorizing the placement of another two-letter combination to the right of the acronym "NCSSM" if the letter combination "SM" is not available.

This section is effective retroactively to July 1, 2025.
