Overview: Section 2F.1 of S.L. 2025‑2 (House Bill 47) establishes the Small Business Infrastructure Grant Program, administered by the Department of Commerce, to assist small businesses by providing grants to local governments to expedite infrastructure repairs impacting the operation and patronage of small businesses in the area affected by Hurricane Helene. The total grant amount per county is limited to no more than 10% of the total funds appropriated for the program.
