Child and Maternal Health

To provide funding to local health departments in counties that have experienced the highest infant mortality rates in the State with the intent that evidence-based strategies that are proven to be effective will be utilized on these issues: birth outcomes through addressing pregnancy intendedness, preterm birth, and/or infant mortality.

Provides direct or indirect services (e.g., health care, childcare, inspections, case management, classes/sessions, counseling, referrals, consultations)
