H600 - Regulatory Reform Act of 2023. (SL 2023-137)

Overview: Section 42 of S.L. 2023-137 provides that, in accordance with G.S. 150B-18, no agency of this State can enforce against any person a policy, guideline, or other interpretive statement that describes the procedure or practice requirements of the agency unless those requirements have been adopted as a rule in accordance with Article 2A of Chapter 150B of the General Statutes.

This bill was vetoed by the Governor on October 2, 2023, and that veto was overridden by the General Assembly on October 10, 2023. This section became effective on October 10, 2023.
